We are excited to host the 2nd annual Ian 500! We hope you will join us and show your Heart for Cures in this unique and fun virtual competition.
All children fighting sarcomas deserve access to cutting-edge cancer treatments
Why Donate?
The funds raised will help support new, cutting-edge research efforts for childhood sarcoma treatments. Childhood sarcomas have a survival rate around 20% lower than other childhood cancers, and our desire is to close that gap.
Ian’s family will work with Curing Kids Cancer to determine the most effective and impactful research projects that will receive the funds. This supports Curing Kids Cancer’s goal to find and fund cures in our lifetime!
Race for
Someone Special
We ask each team to race for someone in their lives affected by pediatric cancer or we can assign the team a child to pull for. Teams are encouraged to send us a picture of members of your team with the coolest car you can find!
Whether it is the family minivan (we prefer the term “swagger wagon”) or your neighbor’s 1960s Ford Mustang, we want to see your Best Car in Show. These photos will be posted to Facebook for a competition, with the winner earning a prize! This is a special way to recognize how each team shares a Heart for Cures!
When Does
the Race Start?
The Ian 500 will take place from Noon ET Friday, June 24th - Noon ET Sunday, July 10th. Make sure to keep checking back throughout the competition to follow along with the head-to-head racing action!
